Inter-Korean forum on sex slavery in April

South and North Korean activists for women forced into sexual slavery by Japan's military during World War II will hold a joint conference next month, organizers said yesterday.

The Seoul-based Korean Council for the Women Drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan said two North Korean groups have accepted its proposal made in December for the event.

This year marks the centennial of Japan's annexation of Korea.
